The Mission of the Old Roman Catholic Church
The Old Roman Catholic Church is a community of believers rooted in the Gospel and mission of Jesus Christ, faithfully living the One, Holy, Catholic, Apostolic, and Universal faith through worship, sacramental life, prayer, and service. We are guided by fidelity and charity, and we seek to express the Catholic faith in a way that honors both ancient tradition and the dignity of every person. Following the historic Ultrajectine tradition of the Church of Utrecht, we uphold the principles of local governance, freedom of conscience in non-essential matters, and legitimate diversity in church discipline, while remaining steadfast in the essential truths of the Catholic faith.
The Vision Statement of the Old Roman Catholic Church
Our vision is to live out the via media in all our relationships, both within our community and with the wider world. Rooted in the Old Roman Catholic tradition, we seek to hold in harmony the beauty of traditional liturgy and pastoral compassion. We strive to inspire each person to deepen their union with Christ, affirming that no one should be excluded because of personal or moral circumstances. In the spirit of Romans 14:10—“Why do you pass judgment on your brother or sister? Or you, why do you despise your brother or sister? For we will all stand before the judgment seat of God”—we pledge to welcome all with dignity and love.
